Soul Nomad & the World Eaters
is for the PlayStation® 2 system. It'll be released on September 25th, and it is the latest strategy RPG from Nippon Ichi Software. It has a grid based map like Disgaea!
"Some people just ain't fit to play god."Story
The continent of Prodesto. The grueling war has finally ended, and one man has unified the land. The harmonious empire stood for 10 years, before it crumbled once more and Prodesto returned to a state of bloody war. Layna the Firebrand, the greatest mage of all time, has found a hero who can control a possessed onyx blade. The hero with the blade goes out into the world to regain the peace the world once held.
Customization
Customization is one of the most important elements in a strategy RPG, don't you agree? Soul Nomad lets you customize a room, squad, characters, and so on.As you play through the game, you will unlock more rooms, and each room has specific characteristics. So, think well, and decide which one to go in. However, there is an "Auto Setup" if you aren't sure what to do. So, no worries!

Gig... so who's this Gig anyways?
Well, Gig is the leader of the World Eaters that almost destroyed the planet 200 years ago. He is feared by all as the Master of Death and the God of Destruction. However, he was almost killed by Layna, who then sealed his soul in an onyx blade. He now wants a physical form of his own. He grants his power to a hero in exchange for the hero's body. (Gig Edicts) You play as the hero or heroine. Yes, you can choose either to be a hero or heroine at the beginning of the game. Eventually, you must borrow Gig's power to defeat your enemies, but be careful... if you rely too much on Gig's power, his power will gradually destroy you... Gotta have smart, wise trades with Gig!

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
is for the PlayStation® Portable system. This means that you can endulge in the Disgaea world anywhere, anytime you want. Plus, Disgaea: AoD has a Multiplayer Mode! So, not only sink in the Disgaea world, you can take your buddy with you! It releases on October 30th."Join the Disgaea War to get your life back!"
Story
The story takes place two years after the death of King Krichevskoy, the ruler of the Netherworld, which is a cursed land where evil reigns and foul beings dwell. His son Laharl slept for two full years, unaware of his father's death, while demons fought for supremacy over the Netherworld. With the help of his subordinate Etna and her underlings, the egocentric, megalomaniac Prince Laharl fights his way to become the next king.
Battle System
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness uses an orthodox tactical simulation RPG style with a turn-based system where all your characters take action, and then your enemies go. Remember the 4 Cs of NIS games? Crazy, Cool, Customizable, and Catastrophic! Disgaea has all of these elements. You can make crazy combos; you can be cool just having Disgaea; your army has massive amounts of customizable options; and your attacks can be catastrophic!(Larger image)
What's new?
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness offers exciting new features! Haven't you ever wished that you could play Disgaea with your buddy? Disgaea: AoD has a Multiplayer Mode! And, Disgaea: AoD has some new systems exclusive to the multiplayer mode, such as Fog of War, Geo cube, and more.
You can also buy music with Hell (Disgaea currency), and enjoy your favorite music from Disgaea while you are playing it.
The details for each feature will be explained on the Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness main site. As we get get closer to the release date (10/30), we'll disclose a new feature every week. So, don't forget to check back!
Etna, the Netherworld Queen?
Disgaea: AoD doesn't just stop with a new Multiplayer Mode. It lets you play as Etna! You can play the Etna Mode after you beat the main story. And the story starts off as... "What if Etna killed Laharl when trying to wake him up from his two year slumber?" Isn't that just awesome?
4. Preorder info
When you purchase this set , which includes the game and the strategy guide, you also receive 2 miraculously transparent Japanese Moe Folders; Etna folder and Flonne folder. The Etna folder has Flonne's image on the back, and the Flonne folder has Etna's image on the back. These folders are exclusive to RosenQueen preorders.
